coriventalo

Started with a simple observation

Back in 2017, I kept watching small business owners get buried under spreadsheets that didn't talk to each other. Same story everywhere—cashflow guesswork, tax season panic, decisions made on gut feeling rather than numbers.

We built coriventalo because those problems felt fixable. Not with more complexity, but with systems that actually make sense for people running businesses, not accounting departments.

Started working with a handful of local cafés and trades businesses around Coffs Harbour. Those early clients taught us more than any textbook ever could—what actually matters when you're trying to keep a business healthy while managing everything else life throws at you.

How we got here

2017-2019: Learning what works

Those first two years were humbling. We worked directly with twelve businesses, building custom solutions that were honestly too complicated. But we learned what small business owners actually needed versus what we thought they needed.

2020-2022: Building something better

Pandemic hit and suddenly everyone needed remote financial visibility. We rebuilt our entire approach around clarity and accessibility. Client base grew to 40+ businesses across retail, services, and light manufacturing.

2023-Present: Refining the model

Now supporting 60+ small businesses with finances that actually work for them. We've seen what happens when business owners can trust their numbers—better decisions, less stress, actual growth that's sustainable.

What guides our work

Straight answers

Financial jargon helps nobody. We explain things in plain language because you deserve to understand what's happening with your money. No hiding behind complexity or making things sound more mysterious than they are.

Real-world context

Theory is great, but business happens in the real world where things get messy. We build solutions around how your business actually operates, not some idealized version that exists in textbooks.

Long-term thinking

Quick fixes rarely fix anything. We're interested in building financial systems that work for years, not band-aids that fall off during the next busy season. Your business deserves better than short-term patches.

People behind the work

Small team, deliberately kept that way. Everyone here has run their own business or worked closely enough with small business owners to understand the reality of what you're dealing with.

Founder & Financial Strategist

Spent five years in corporate finance before realizing I preferred helping actual business owners over writing reports nobody read. Started coriventalo in 2017 with three clients and a laptop. Still involved in every client relationship because that's the part I actually enjoy.

How we actually work with clients

First conversation is always about understanding your business—not just the numbers, but how things actually operate day-to-day. What takes up your time? Where do financial decisions feel unclear or stressful?

Then we build systems around that reality. Sometimes it's cashflow forecasting that accounts for your seasonal patterns. Other times it's restructuring how you track expenses so you can actually see where money goes.

  • Monthly financial reviews that focus on what matters for your specific business
  • Direct access when questions come up—not ticket systems or phone trees
  • Planning that accounts for where you want the business to go, not just where it's been
  • Tax preparation that happens throughout the year, not in a panic at deadline

We're not interested in having 200 clients. Current model works because we can give proper attention to each business we support.
